Colorado Hardscapes received the GRAND AWARD/GOLD AWARD – Bomanite Exposed Aggregate Systems for their outstanding decorative concrete installations at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. Their award-winning work featured a striking array of Bomanite systems, including Bomanite Sandscape® Texture, Bomanite Sandscape® Refined, and Bomanite Revealed, used across multiple iconic sites. Installations were prominently showcased at The Air Gardens, The Asian Memorial, Center for Character and Leadership Development (CCLD), CyberWorx, Falcon Athletic Center, USASFA HH3 Memorial, USAFA Northwind, USAFA Visitor Center, Vandenberg Hall, and Wecker Hall, highlighting this Bomanite Licensee’s mastery in craftsmanship and artistic precision.
Carolina Bomanite Corporation, Inc. received the Best Bomanite Imprint Systems Project GOLD AWARD for their installation at Olde Mecklenburg Brewery – Hornets Nest Patio in Charlotte, NC. This impressive work represents the latest phase of a carefully planned multi-year project, focusing specifically on the addition of a new patio area. The installation prominently features the sophisticated Bomanite Slate Texture complemented beautifully by the Bomanite Belgian Block Border Texture pattern. Despite the location never originally intended for patio use, Carolina Bomanite’s craftsmanship seamlessly integrated the new space, creating a timeless and authentic appearance that serves as an outstanding example of decorative concrete artistry.
Musselman & Hall Contractors LLC was also awarded the Best Bomanite Toppings Systems Project GOLD AWARD for their extraordinary work at the Andover 13th Street Splash Pad in Andover, KS, showcasing Bomanite Micro-Top ST. Bursting with color and creativity, this splash pad is an incredible example of the magic decorative concrete can bring to life when imagination meets skilled craftsmanship. Featuring an intricate design with six custom colors, playful bullseye rings, and an eye-catching winding river pattern, the Andover 13th Street Splash Park has become a must-visit destination, thanks to the imagination and expertise of Musselman & Hall’s talented decorative concrete artists.
Heritage Bomanite received the Best Bomanite Specialty Systems Project GOLD AWARD for the project at Valley Children’s Hospital in Madera, CA, featuring Specialty Precast Elements. This project’s aesthetics are particularly remarkable, given it was Heritage Bomanite’s first experience designing, developing, and fabricating large-scale precast concrete sculptures. Situated in a high-traffic location, the installation rests strategically between the main guest parking area and the hospital’s outpatient entrance, with close proximity to the hospital bus drop-off zone and staff/doctor parking lot. Thanks to its striking visual appeal, this unique decorative concrete space has quickly become a popular spot for hospital staff and visitors to gather, unwind, and enjoy.
Premier Concrete Construction earned the prestigious Best Bomanite Custom Polishing Systems Project GOLD AWARD for their exceptional decorative concrete work at Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square, PA. The project prominently features the Bomanite Modena SL and Bomanite Modena Monolithic systems, carefully designed to match the aesthetics of a historic space appearing to be more than a century old. The seamless integration of the Bomanite Modena systems beautifully complements the original character of the building, effortlessly blending new installations with existing surfaces and enhancing the unique charm of each room and space.
